Morphicon 2005

Morphicon is a small furry convention held in central Ohio.  I was the chair again on this, our second convention year.

Our theme for this year was "Growing Pains", and so our convention featured a lot of events pertinent to macro-sized furries.  These included a "Macro Rampage" event featured early on in the convention and a lot of macro humor in our infamous Furry Variety Show.

Because we were flooded with performance events, there were so many pictures to take this year, I filled two memory cards!  So there are more pics of this con than any other I've attended so far: 320 high-resolution images in all.

There are three sizes of image: thumbnail, small, and full-size.  Click on the thumbnail to see the small image.  Click on the small image (a second click) to see the full-size image.

I've put Johnny Tanuki's pictures up too, at his request.

Karen took this picture of me "baiting the trap".  Max lovingly called the slot machine I donated for convention use the "senior track" of programming, since we (regrettably) didn't have any Greymuzzle panels this year.

The turnout was nearly exactly the predicted number, with 158 registrations.  Most of our attendees commented that they enjoyed the small, laid-back convention atmosphere.  Still, we had more than enough events and panels to keep things exciting.  We're already preparing for next year, so we hope to see you here in 2006!
